Welcome, I am happy to meet you here.

I’ll start by giving you some background about myself.

Born and raised in the Netherlands, I also have roots in Greece.

My love for cooking comes from my Greek father. Being in my 50s now has brought a new energy into my life.

I’ve done quite a few different things over the years, but I’ve mostly followed what I love most.

I had my own dog training school for more than 10 years in the Netherlands, where I helped people raise puppies and offered behavioural dog therapy.

Alongside this, I studied for five years at the Saswitha School for Yoga and Philosophy in the Netherlands. After completing my training, I ran my own business as a remedial yoga teacher, specializing in breathing therapy, for more than five years. My yoga lessons were personalized for people with physical disabilities. This included people with multiple sclerosis, scoliosis, those in a wheelchair, or people with very demanding jobs dealing with high stress, burnout, or anxiety.

In my 40s, I moved from the Netherlands to Barcelona, Spain, where I’ve now been based for over 10 years.

My daughter also lives in Barcelona, and I expanded my studies to become a professional Integrative Nutrition Health Coach at the world known school for Health coaching, IIN, Institute for Integrative Nutrition in the US.

I hold specialisations in Gut Health and Hormone Health.

Together with my experience as a remedial yoga teacher, my background in breathing therapy and my specialisations in gut and hormone health I bring all of this together to support individuals experiencing high levels of stress and inflammation, and those wanting to improve their overall health through realistic, long-term lifestyle changes.

We walk the path toward a new lifestyle, incorporating all the insights from your personal journey into a healthy way of living.

I also have a sad story that marks the beginning of my journey as a health coach.

A few years ago, the father of my daughter received the devastating news that he had bone marrow cancer.

He was only 52 years old when we found out. We were no longer together, but he was still my best friend, and we got along very well.

As a mother, it was heartbreaking to see my daughter’s sadness.

It was in that moment when I really understood that being healthy in mind, body and spirit is a great gift, and that lifestyle habits do have a big impact on how you grow older.

Nutrition, stress control, hormone health, and preventing inflammation became my main focus.

His illness lasted two years before he passed away.

It made me realize how deeply I want to grow older in a healthy way and be present for my daughter in a way that gives her peace of mind.

Many of today’s health issues are preventable or manageable through lifestyle changes.

It’s not about needing more information, but about creating real transformation to integrate a sustainable, healthy lifestyle.

It is my mission to help people make that transformation, so they can manage their lives in a healthy and lasting way.

And this is what I do as a health coach.

I guide you as you take steps toward a healthier lifestyle.

Namaste,

Dafni Kokotovis
